The best canned kratom drinks, by the label

We compare kratom cans on what the label and the brand actually list, not on promises. Where listings disagree, we say so.

By The Functional Sip · Updated October 10, 2026
The short answer
Canned kratom comes in two styles: elixirs brewed with kratom leaf, like Botanical Brewing's Island Breeze, Tiki Apple and Blueberry Lemonade, and seltzers made with kratom extract, like Mitra9 and White Rabbit. New Brew mixes kratom, kava and tea in one can. Our pick for flavor range is Botanical Brewing's elixir variety pack. Whatever you buy, read the label: kratom is for adults 21+, can be habit-forming with regular use, isn't FDA-approved for any use, and is banned or restricted in some places.

Our pick: Botanical Brewing's elixirs

We pick Botanical Brewing for flavor range: three fruit-forward flavors, each named for the leaf vein it's brewed with, sold in 4, 12 or 24 packs. The variety pack is the easy way to try all of them. One thing to know: the product page doesn't print a mitragynine amount per can; it links a lab certificate instead, so read that or the can before you buy.

Botanical Brewing also makes Cat 5, a double-strength blend. It's not a first can, so we've left it off this list.

Kratom seltzer vs. kratom elixir

The two words aren't regulated, so read the ingredients rather than the front of the can. In practice:

If a printed number matters most to you, a seltzer that lists it is easier to compare. If flavor matters most, start with an elixir. Either way, one can is one serving.

Mitra9 vs. New Brew

Mitra9's kratom seltzer is one plant: kratom extract, 45 mg mitragynine per can on the brand's label, zero sugar, sweetened with stevia and sucralose.

New Brew puts kratom, kava and tea in the same can, at $68 for a 12-pack from the brand. The per-can amounts we found don't agree from one listing to the next, and one distributor lists caffeine from the tea as well, so check the can.

The main difference is that New Brew combines plants. We usually advise against mixing kava and kratom, so if you're new to either one, a single-plant can is the simpler choice. Both "Who should skip" lists below apply to New Brew.

New Brew vs. White Rabbit

White Rabbit is a single-plant kratom seltzer. Its brand page lists 45 mg of kratom extract with 30 mg mitragynine, zero calories, zero sugar and no caffeine, sweetened with sucralose. One retailer lists a different amount (25 mg), which is another reason to read the can.

New Brew is the kratom, kava and tea blend described above. If you want to avoid caffeine or skip kava, White Rabbit's label is the more straightforward of the two. If you're avoiding sucralose, check both labels.

What we didn't include, and why

Several other kratom drinks are on the market. We left out any brand whose label figures we couldn't confirm on the brand's own page. We'll add them when we can.
